Australian Dance Festival

The Australian Dance Festival was held over the weekend at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre.

The Australian Dance Festival wasn’t  just for the professional, but for the beginner, student or a non-dancer, who just loves to dance.  Workshops, performances and dance competitions were held over the weekend, where some of the students work was performed in front of professional judges.

Live Music Photographers were there to capture the showcase performances and the Dance Around The World Solo Competitions for the Sydney Olympic Sports Centre. Both the showcase and solo competition was fierce, as all competitors danced their hearts out, to show the up and coming talent Australia has to offer.

The Majestics

The Majestics entertained a full house in one of the largest Vietnamese restaurant in Cabramatta on Saturday night.

Now, Vietnamese music is not something you would typically find on the Live Music Photographers blog, but having a family member play in the band just made sense.  The Majestics is a four piece band which often play in clubs and restaurants in Sydney, predominately Cabramatta and Bankstown.

Live Music Photographers were asked to come along and help promote The Majestics at a local fundraiser, helping a local Buddhist monastery  raise money.  The Majestics supported local singers and well known American Vietnamese singers perform.
